Zenith Ad July 1957Full color 6 1/2″ x 10″ ad for their Royal “500” Pocket Radio. There is a picture of a femine hand holding up a Black radio with a bracelet by Spaulding adorning her wrist. The headline claims that “This tiny, tubeless 7 transistor radio performs where others fail” and the text goes on to talk about the 7 transistors rather than 4 or 5 like others have and the new Mercury batteries lasting for up to 400 hours. It also mentions the five colors it was available in and, at the bottom of the page, you can see the other four colors offered. It mentions it having a nylon case and a price of $75.
