Description
Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad for their Sampler box of Candy, the greatest gift for Valentine’s Day. There is a picture of a happy girl wearing a blue dress as she sits closely to her young man in a uniform. On the table next to them is a box of Whitman’s Sampler that the soldier must have presented to his lady and, from off camera, the hand of a young boy is reaching in to dislodge the lid and is stealing one of his favorite candies. In several places in the ad there are reminders concerning Valentine’s Day, probably one of their biggest selling days.
