Honda Motorcycle Ad May 1964Full color 9 1/2″ x 13″ ad from their series claiming that “You meet the nicest people on a Honda. This ad has a picture of a couple riding matching Hondas alongside a pair of horses being ridden next to the road. This “nicest people” series was, in my opinion, an attempt by Honda to replace the image of outlaws as being the only individuals that would be found riding a motorcycle. The text talks about getting 200 miles to the gallon and mentions some of the features that make this bike easy to ride such as a 3-speed Transmission and an automatic clutch. These facts, coupled with a reasonable price of $245, made this a popular form of transportation.  1964 Honda 50
