Full color 9 3/4″ x 13 3/4″ ad that talks about Carnation Evaporated Milk and how you can use it to make Carnation 5-Minute Fudge. This ad has a picture that has a glass bowl filled with Fudge Squares filled with Nuts and there are several hands taking and reaching for the treats. The ad headline says “Fudge in 5 minutes! No Beating! No Failures! Carnation is the secret – ordinary milk won’t do”. The text says that it is “So easy – no soft ball tests or candy thermometer needed. And so smooth – thanks to special blending qualities of Carnation not found in any other form of milk“. Then it gives the recipe: “Mix 2/3 cup of undiluted Carnation Evaporated Milk, 1 2/3 cups sugar and 1/2 teaspoon salt in saucepan over low heat. Heat to boiling, then cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add 1 1/2 cups (16 medium) diced marshmallows, 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate pieces, 1 tespoon vanilla, 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Stir 1-2 minutes (until marshmallows melt). Pour into buttered 9″ square pan”. Thats it, Try this and save some for me.
