Description

Buick Special Ad 1957Buick Special – Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad that indicates that this car was designed with YOU in mind. There is a picture of a Blue and White Buick Special being driven past a rocky outcropping by a woman with a male passenger and a smaller picture that shows a couple looking inside of a Green Buick Special where the front end is visible to the viewer. The headline states Buick — No. 1 on the Zest-seller list” and the text indicates that words are wasted, you need to get to your Buick dealer to sit behind the wheel and take it for a drive to fully appreciate what Buick has built for you. The text talks about the Variable-Pitch Dynaflow transmission and the Ball-Joint Suspension before mentioning that the ’57 Buick Special, is the Number One best-seller in the Buick line”. This ad also mentions a feature called the Safety-Minder. With this feature you would set the maximum speed that you wanted to go and a buzzer would sound if you exceeded that speed. It would continue sounding until you reduced your speed to below what you had set.
