1978 Fiat’s – Black and white 8″ x 11″ ad that claims that “After 76 years of making sports cars, it’s hard to make something dull”. Their first paragraph says a lot of what they mean. “Where we come from, a car is not made to drive you to the supermarket. A car is made to drive you to ecstasy. That the ecstasy happens on the way to the supermarket is incidental”. They mention the 124 Spider, the Fiat X1/9, the 131 Sedan and the 124 Spider as cars of value and uniqueness.
