This ad uses the examples of SandraSal and Suzie who, it is claimed, “are different as can be”, yet they each choose to wear Spun-loSandra seems to be affluent because she “has a maid and a new fur coat”. The ad shows her modeling her new fur coat over her new Spun-lo undergarments. Sally seems to be efficient because she “has housekeeping down to an art”. The ad shows her wearing her Spun-lo and reading a book as she sits on top of her washing machine as it works away. Sally is claimed to be a White Collar worker and making and keeping a budget for her is made possible by buying products as long-lasting as Spun-lo.
