Description
Full color 7 1/2″ x 10 3/4″ ad that questions whether their slogan Winston tastes good like a cigarette should is grammatically correct but guarantees that Winston knows how to make a cigarette. There is a picture that shows a city park with high-rise buildings prominent in the background. This park is filled with people milling around and, according to the speech balloons, they are mostly debating whether or not the statement is spoken correctly. There is one person packed into the crowd who is stating that “I wish these people would get off my lawn” but everyone else seems to be discussing the quality of a Winston or the grammatical excellence of their long-time ad campaign. The bottom statement in the ad says that “Winston may not say it right, but they sure know how to make it right with specially processed Filter Blend tobaccos.”
