Description
Full color 10 1/4″ x 13 1/2″ ad for their Whitman’s Sampler. This ad, which appeared during World War II, shows a pilot getting off his plane holding a box of chocolate on one arm and his girl on the other. The ad headline states “Love Story – One hundred years old” and the ad mentions that this is the hundredth year Whitman’s has been making candy. This ad is larger than my scanner bed so the outer edges of the ad will not be visible in the scanned view.
