White House Milk Ad 1938Full color 8 1/4″ x 11 1/4″ ad for their Unsweetened Evaporated Milk. There is a picture of a family of three that has gone for a day of outdoor activities which is to include a picnic. The camera has taken an overhead shot from behind of their Red Convertible with the top down so the contents can be seen. The father is unloading a box of canned food with each of the Canned White House cans being turned with the labels upwards. Also in the back seat are tennis rackets while the young boy is sitting in the front seat with his wooden sailboat. The headline calls it “A Ready Milk Supply for Summer Cottage and Camp” and the text describes the only ingredient being missing is about 60 percent of the water and the bottom headline says “Unopened, it keeps without ice”. There is a large picture of the can with a large white house on the front.
