This ad features “NEWS…for you from old New Orleans” and features a String Bean Excellent recipe that is claimed to be a favorite there. The headline in the middle of the ad claims that “Hot or Cold Vegetables need Wesson Oil“ and there are two other pictures that tell a story of a lady coming back from New Orleans and thrilling her friends with her exploits there. At the first dinner with one friend though the friend served a Shrimp a la New Orleans recipe that she was going to impress her with. Her friend mentioned that she got this recipe, and others, from the Wesson Oil – Better Homes and Gardens recipe booklet that is offered in this ad.
