Description
1959 Simcas – Full color 10″ x 14″ ad that announces “A Whole New Simca Series” and shows the five vehicles, the Simca Elysee, the Simca Vedette, the Simca Ariane, the Simca Deluxe and the Simca Oceane. The ad says that “Chrysler Corporation announces the latest addition to the Simca line”. The text talks about the “luxurious 4-door Elysee sedan” and the “chic 2-door Grand Large hardtops”. On the other examples it says that the Simca Vedette is a “lavishly appointed, 6-passenger room and V-8 power”, the Simca Ariane is a car that has “6-passenger comfort” and it was available in 4-cylinder or V-8. The Simca Deluxe was “the lowest priced Simca of them all and the Simca Deluxe was an “elegant sports convertible. Persian chic, spirited 57 HP performance”.
