Pictured in this ad is a man smiling as he is snowblowing his yard as the headline introduces the Sears Lawn and Garden Tractors. Our Snow Thrower gets rid of the shovel, the strain and the snow”. The ad claims that “The 39″ Snow Thrower runs at full power while the Hydro-Trac provides the proper speed. In all, Sears has seven different tractors. Three different horsepowers (7,10 and 12). Sears tractors have these “Shortcut Leisure” features: Fingertip controls. Electric starting. Solid-state ignition. Extra-wide, turf-saver tires. Craftsman engine with superstart. Spring mounted bucket seat. Over 40 attachments and accessories available. Rotary mowers meet A.S.A. safety standards. And, when you start talking money, Sears, Roebuck and Co. talks your language. Ask about Sears Easy Payment Plan”. At the bottom of the ad there are three pictures showing items of interest in these tractors. The first one shows a man driving his tractor and the ad says that you can “Cut grass, push, pull, plant, rake, till. You name it. It does it. Lawn Vacuum Collector whisks away clippings, leaves, twigs as you mow”. The second picture shows a close-up. The “Easy to read grouped instrument panel: Single Lever Control for no-effort tractoring, visual gas guage, and cigarette lighter”. And the third picture shows the tractor being driven by the wife. The ad headline says that you should “Be a good guy. Every once in a while let your wife take a ride”.
