Description

Black and white 5″ x 13″ ad for Realsilk Personal Fit Hosiery. The ad starts off by saying “That Look” In Hosiery is a Matter of 5 Measurements” and it is placed over a picture of a very attractive woman sitting down and reading something on paper as she pulls her legs up while exposing her legs from the knees down. The ad says “How To Get Personal Fit Hosiery” and then says that Women ask, “How can I get Personal Fit Hosiery? Must I wait to be approached before I can place an order?” The best thing to do is to walk briskly to the phone, look up Realsilk, call and say, “Will you send a representative?” The representative comes with a simple little measuring gadget with which you can take the five essential measurements. You see the new shades. You choose. Your order is filled from hundreds of different patterns constantly in process and sent to you”. The bottom picture says “Ankle, Calf and Top Size as Well as Footsize and Length. When women say, “I didn’t know you could get ‘that look’ with stockings” – then you know you’ve got something. Realsilk Personal Fit Hosiery gives a plus style. It fits. It wears. It gleams. It strikes an accent of subtle elegance. To give you the perfect fit, Realsilk requires five measurements instead of one – ankle, calf, top and length – as well as foot size. Try Realsilk just once for ‘that look'”.
