Popsicle Ad 1952Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 3/4″ ad for Popsicles, Fudgesicles, Creamsicles and Dreamsicles from Joe Lowe Corporation. This ad has a fairytale look to it as kids are sitting on the sticks of their favorite ice cream snacks as they are flown through outer space. The ad claims that there is “A world of goodness…frozen on sticks by the finest ice cream plants in the world!”. It then says that “Parents everywhere know they can depend on the purity and wholesomeness of the POPSICLE family of frozen refreshments. In France or San Francisco, Saskatchewan or Sioux City, these ‘On-a-Stick’ treats are produced by the world’s finest ice cream plants. And the standards of cleanliness and excellence which these sunlit plants maintain are the highest that modern dairy science can provide. Just one more reason why America’s favorite family of frozen refreshments is the favorite of all the world”.
