Description

Pontiac LeMans Ad January 1966Pontiac LeMans – Full color 10″ x 13″ ad has a picture of a Blue Four-Door Le Mans parked in a field of brush. Close to the car, just visible among the brush, is a tiger-skin chair with it’s back to the viewer. Leaning across the arm of this chair is what looks like a rifle left by some ambitious hunter. There are three smaller photos at the bottom of the ad, two of them showing the car’s interior and one that shows one side of the hood which contains the reflection of an attractive lady who is lying on the other side. The ad headline asks “Does anything this sleek and luxurious really need a revolutionary new overhead cam six? No. We just like it better that way.” The ad text mentions some of the features that were available to the lucky purchasers of this car. This ad is larger than my scanner bed so the outer edges of the ad will not be visible in the scanned view.
