Description

Oldsmobile 88 Ad January 1969Oldsmobile 88 – Full color 9 3/4″ x 13 1/4″ ad with a picture of a well-dressed woman standing next to a Brown 1969 Oldsmobile 88 that has it’s nose pointed forward and the lady toward the rear. Standing slightly behind the lady are three men dressed as Keystone Cops who are standing just in front of a very large photo of these men appearing somewhat perplexed. The ad headline asks you to “Join Oldsmobile’s Great 88 Escape. Great time to give common cars the slip”. The ad then says that “Uncommon value always moves ahead of price in an Olds 88. This one gives you added security with rugged new guardrails built into the doors. And an anti-theft steering column lock. Added convenience with a push-button ashtray and turn-knob glove compartment. So add them into the pluses you get in the big-car world of an 88. Along with looks. Size. Big-Car ride. Oldsmobile quality”.
