Description
Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad for their Five-Flavor Life Savers. This wartime ad is supposedly a letter home from a soldier and shows a picture of him stealthily putting an orange Life Saver into his mouth. The text is the letter which goes “Dear Mom: In this picture I am eating what is now a native delicacy around here. It is called Five Flavor Life Savers and we buy it at the Post Exchange. The natives are crazy about it because it saves them the trouble of climbing trees for limes and oranges and things. Love, Tom”
