Description

Kodak Camera Ad May 1967Full color 9 3/4″ x 13 1/4″ ad that wants you to purchase Kodak Film to “Remember the Day…in Pictures”. This ad shows four different pictures that seem to be commemorating a very important time in the life of a daughter. The first picture seems to be of some sort of get-together between two families, the second one is of two girls playing around on the floor of the gym, the third is of the one girl, laughing as she is sitting there with her hair in curlers, and the fourth is of this same girl and her date, standing outside dressed formally as they prepare to go out. The ad says that “The Decorations Committee had a ball turning the gym into a crepe-paper palace. And they took loads of snapshots because you can’t capture the fun of a prom in one picture. There’s a great series of pictures waiting for you on every roll of Kodak film. You can depend on it not to miss a thing, whether in color snapshots, slides or movies. Just be sure the name Kodak is on the box because Jims, James, gyms – everything comes out best on Kodak film”.
