They are riding two bicycles that are connected side-by-side, two back wheels and one front, with a frame that is conveniently sized to be big enough to hold a case of Imperial Whiskey. The ad headline reminds us that “Knowledgeable people drink Imperial. It’s a matter of taste (and value).”.
