Description

Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad that talks about how “our distilleries are devoted to the production of alcohol for war use by the government” instead of the blatant usage of their I.W. Harper Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Boy, I may stand corrected on that one. The ad has a picture of Mr. I.W. Harper bending over slightly and tipping his hat as he is saying “…may I urge you to hold on to all the War Bonds you buy”. The ad tells us that it is “Distilled in peace time and Bottled in Bond under the supervision of the U.S. Government” and they claim that “It’s always a pleasure. I.W. Harper since 1812. The gold medal whiskey”.
