Description

Huffy Lawn Tractor Ad 1967Black and white 9 3/4″ x 13 3/4″ ad for the Huffy 6-Horse Lawn Tractor. At the top this ad has a drawing of the Huffy 6-Horse Lawn Tractor and, below that, is the headline saying “How this brand new man-sized Huffy can make you feel like a lawn-care pro”. The text says, “First step. Get it on your lawn and climb aboard. You’re on a comfortable, tractor-sized seat, overlooking a massive hood; and up high enough to get a good view of the situation. Your right foot feels comfortable on the drive pedal, your left rests naturally on the brake. Hand controls; throttle on the dash, blade clutch under the seat to your left, four-on-the-floor between your legs (3 speeds forward, neutral and reverse). This is a husky machine that will do a superior lawn job with its efficient 25-inch airlift rotary cutter bar. And when you wheel her out front, you’ll look right to your neighbors and feel right to yourself. But there’s more. Look at these accessories. The three-gang reel will cut a beautiful 60-inch swath. Or, check the 30-inch-wide spreader-seeder. Hook it behind you and you’ll make short work of either job. How about a handy 2-foot by 3-foot by 8-inch cart? Or a spiker-aerator? Or a 24-inch wide roller? Pick the accessories you need. You’ll get a better result, quicker and easier. Next winter plan on making a breeze of snow removal. Hook your plow on the front, and you’ll be looking forward to the next heavy snow. This new powerful lawn tractor with its Briggs & Stratton engine is really unique. It looks and rides like a garden tractor, but it’s just not that expensive. The price is where you can afford it”.
