Full color 9 1/2″ x 12″ ad for their Straight Bourbon Whiskey. The ad, which is listed as No. 17 of a series Facts behind our human customs, has a drawing of people in 15th century London standing outside of a Barber Shop. The ad headline asks the question “Do you know Why There are Barber Poles” and the text gives the history. This ad is larger than my scanner bed so the outer edges of the ad will not be visible in the scanned view.
