Description
Pinto Wagon – Full color 7 1/4″ x 11″ ad with the message that the “Pinto Wagon is the basic wagon idea all over again: lots of space for little money”. First there is an antique picture of a family of four getting ready for a trip in what is probably one of the early Ford station wagons. To illustrate what is available now there is a picture from the front side of a Light-Colored Pinto Wagon with Squire Option and a smaller picture from the rear that shows the tailgate open and much more stuff in the back of that than the old family were going to try to take in their “wagon”. The text explains that Ford introduced the first “wagon” in 1929 then jumps to what the 1973 wagon has to offer. It compares the cargo space of 60 cubic feet to the 50 cubic feet that the Vega Kammback and VW Squareback have and mentions other features without comparing them to anyone else’s products.
