Full color 4 3/4″ x 12 1/2″ ad that is for Lipton Tea and it has Dorothy Lamour singing its praises. At the top it says “From Dainty Fay Davis to Dorothy Lamour as it relates to the two of them. First, the ad says that “1901 – Dainty Fay Davis was one of Drury Lane’s favorite actresses. Another favorite of London was the Irish yachtsman and tea merchant, Sir Thomas Lipton. Miss Davis had just created the famous role of Iris Bellamy. Sir Thomas’s creation was a distinctive blend of tea from his own gardens in Ceylon – brisk Lipton’s. Then, there is a picture of Ms. Lamour standing there, smiling, as she is holding a glass of Lipton Tea. About her is says “1947 – Dorothy Lamour is one of London’s and New York’s favorite today. She co-stars in Variety Girl, a Paramount Picture”.
