Carlton Cigarettes Ad October 1964Three color 9 3/4″ x 13″ ad for Carlton Flavor-Filter Cigarettes. The ad has a picture of the pack at the top of the ad. It has a lot of writing on the side and, underneath the ad, it says Look again”. When you do, the writing says Analysis of the smoke of samples of Carlton cigarettes are made periodically by an independent research laboratory. Analysis during the most recent test period prior to the manufacturer of the cigarettes in this package averaged:” and it gives some numbers. Further down the text says “This is Carlton, the unusual new cigarette from The American Tobacco Company.
