Description
Full color 9 1/2″ x 13″ ad for the Price Value of Campbell’s Soup. The ad has a picture of a can of Campbell’s Condensed Tomato Soup from 1966 next to a fresh tomato. On the wall behind them is a newspaper ad from July 2, 1921 that mentions a price of “12 cents a can”. The text in the ad implies that the price of this same soup in 1966 is nearly the same as it was in 1921. The ad also contains their motto “To make the best, begin with the best – then cook with extra care”. This ad is has been used at different times with the number of “years ago” being different amounts.
