This is their way of advertising their Campbell’s Vegetable Beef Soup which is one of their more than 30 kinds. The picture shows a bowl of this soup sitting first with an assortment of other delights crowded in. The text says that “If your husband fancies good, plain food, Campbell’s Vegetable Beef Soup is for him. Men love it. Look at the beef in that bowl. The substantial, no-nonsense vegetables. The wonderful beef-and-vegetables broth. A big bowlful of this soup makes a meal for a meat-and-potatoes man. And it takes only 4 minutes to heat it”.
