This ad starts off with a little drawing of the Campbell’s Girl watching the Campbell’s Boy in hot pursuit of a fast-running turkey. The heading at the top tells us that “Goodness gracious! Here’s a treat. Soup that’s rich with with turkey meat”. Then we have the picture in the ad that shows a big pot of this delicious soup, cooking away, hot enough that you can even see the steam rising from the pot. The text starts off by claiming that “You’ve never tasted such good turkey in your soup! Because Campbell’s Turkey Noodle Soup contains all the best parts of turkey…tender pieces of both light and dark meat. Just savor those choice morsels of turkey, the rich, full-flavored broth. And those enriched egg noodles that melt in your mouth. Enjoy Turkey Noodle Soup often. It’s ready in 4 minutes. Costs only 7 cents a serving, makes a pleasure of the healthy habit”.
