Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad for their Tomato Soup. There is a large picture of a kitchen table with healthy sandwiches and a plate of butter on it while a male hand holds a cup marked with the word His and filled with Tomato Soup and a female hand holds a cup marked Hers in a matching cup. The picture is entitled “Soup and a sandwich for a guy and his gal!” as following this is a description of what we see. It starts with the statement “Somebody likes his sandwich big” while the next statement says that Somebody else likes her sandwich small”. The claim is made that they have “a Soup-Plate Lunch”. This is identified as one with a different type sandwich but the same great soup, Campbell’s Tomato Soup. It goes into what is best about these 21 soups further on in the ad.
