Description
Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad that is for Campbell’s Vegetable Soup. The ad starts off with the Campbell’s Guy standing there with a basket of vegetables on his shoulder and he is saying that they are “Almost a meal in itself!”. It is showing just what he is talking about with Beef Stock, Tomatoes, Carrots, White and Sweet Potatoes, Peas, Corn, Limas, Barley, Onions, Macaroni, Okra, Celery, Cabbage, Turnips, Peppers and Parsley. Above a drawing of a bowl of this tremendous soup it claims that this is “A Regular Market Basket Of Luscious Garden Vegetables. – 14 different ones – blend their flavors in a sturdy beef stock. No wonder it’s such a grand soup to sit down to…inviting with the first spoonful…satisfying to the last!”.
