Description

Camel Cigarettes Ad May 1974Full color 7 3/4″ x 10 1/2″ ad that is another in their series that asks “Can you spot the Camel Filters smoker?” from a group of eccentric individuals. This ad has a picture of an old pier where a man with an inner tube for a belt while wearing a white nightshirt and a red crash helmet is talking to a rugged-looking individual. In the background of the picture is a fisherman clad in yellow rain equipment from head to ankle and a chef who looks like he is trying to get some “fresh” fish to cook and serve. In the right front corner of the picture is the man we are looking for, a man who casually kneels as he fishes and enjoys the cigarette in his hand. The lower headline says Camel Filters. They’re not for everybody (vut they could be for you).”.
