Description

Buick LeSabre Ad 1961Buick LeSabre – Full color 9 1/2″ x 13″ ad for the big Wildcat 410 V-8 engine that Buick was using in many of their cars. The ad has two pictures of a Blue Buick LeSabre Two-Door that came equipped with this engine. In the one picture the car is parked and a happy couple is leaning on the passenger side front fender and the other picture shows this car being driven, with no problem, up a steep hill. The ad headline claims these cars have Advanced Thrust and it claims that this car “Flattens hills like it flattens the floor”. The ad text explains that by moving the engine more forward the floor hump for the driveshaft is able to be less pronounced. This ad is larger than my scanner bed so the outer edges of the ad will not be visible in the scanned view.
