Description
Full color 9 3/4″ x 13 3/4″ ad for Brach’s Chocolate Cherries. This is a good ad, a very good one, that shows a very simple and peaceful way of making candy, of watching the chocolate slowly pour from the spoon all the way down to the candy that it is covering. We can see two totally covered Chocolate Cherries and a third one that looks like, for the sake of advertising, they left it bare so that we could see that they really did place a whole cherry inside. The text asks us to “Enjoy Finest Real Chocolate Cherries. Bite into plump juicy cherries…cordialled in velvet-smooth cream…and covered with finest real chocolate”. Just to the left of this we can see three different boxes of the candies they were offering from “Brach’s – A Great Name In Candy”.
