Description

Bayer Ad 1962Black and white 9 1/2″ x 13″ ad for their Aspirin Products“. The ad has a picture of a worried little boy lying in bed as his smiling mother feels his forehead with one hand while the other hand holds a bottle of Bayer Aspirin for Children. I am sure that the worried look on the boy’s face has nothing to do with the fact that a black cat is sitting on his bed with a commanding look on it’s face. The ad headline chides “When anyone in your family has a cold or flu…Doctors Say: 1. Keep him in bed, 2. Have him drink plenty of fluids and 3.Give him aspirin to reduce fever and relieve pain”. At the bottom of the ad are sample pictures of the regular Aspirin and Aspirin for Children. This ad is larger than my scanner bed so the outer edges of the ad will not be visible in the scanned view.
