Description

Full color 10″ x 13″ ad for this Curtiss candy bar that is called Baby Ruth. The ad has a drawing with an adult Navy man and a child in a sailor’s suit walking away from the camera. They both seem to have Baby Ruth candy bars in their hands, uneaten of course, and the ad shows five different versions of a Baby Ruth. The first is an unopened bar, next there is one that has a bite taken out of it, third there is one with several bites, fourth there is one with only two bites left and a little of the wrapper and the last one is only one bite left and the wrapper is totally gone. The ad tells us that “Tall men, small men, kids and Pops, but the candy bar that’s TOPS! New delight, bite after bite after bite! Creamier, old-fashioned fudge, smo-o-o-ther, rich caramel and crisp, fresh peanuts. Made a new and wonderful way for happier candy breaks every day”.
