Description

Association of American Railroads Ad 1943Black and white 9 1/2″ x 13″ ad that reminds us that as hard as it is for the railroads to move all of the troops and supplies, it is even worse in the winter. The headline says “Soldiers on the Winter Front” and has a picture of a fully-loaded train working its way through a heavy snowfall. The text talks about the many things that the American Railroad companies have to do extra to keep the supplies going and mentions a few things that regular passengers can do to alleviate problems.
