1971 Corolla – Full color 9 1/2″ x 12 1/2″ ad with a picture of a Red Corolla parked on a showroom floor and the headline tells us that “This car is loaded with reasons why it shouldn’t be under $1800.” The text goes on to list 39 features that you would not expect to see on a car that sold for $1798, some reasons worth noting, others you would only expect to find missing on a soap box derby car.
