The text says “The drunk driver. Alcoholics and other problem drinkers who make up a small minority of our population, are the most effective killers on our highways. They kill innocent men. Innocent women. Innocent children. And we all share in their guilt. Our indifference to the problem of alcohol on our highways results on 25,000 deaths each year. Year, after year, after year. It’s time to do something. Write your governor. Your state legislators. Your judges. Tell them you support the National Highway Safety Bureau’s plan to get drunk drivers off our highways. Get angry. Become obsessed. Scream your impatience. Demand legislation. It’s do or die”.
