Description

Greyhound Ad April 1953Full color 5″ x 13″ ad for the fact that traveling by Greyhound will allow you to save money. There is a drawing of a young boy and girl lying in a field by the side of the road as a Greyhound bus is parked behind them. The girl is picking flowers while the boy looks dreamily at her and the headline says “There’s One Sure Way to see more and save more on all your Spring Trips!” and, in case you hadn’t already guessed what that way is it tells you to Go Greyhound. It has another picture of a couple sitting in a Greyhound bus reading a newspaper and generally relaxing as the miles go by and the caption calls it “The One Sure Way to Relax!”. The ad does contain examples of various fares that applied at that time.
