Black and white 9 1/2″ x 13″ ad for what they are claiming is “King Sano…America’s purest tobacco taste”. The picture shows a smiling man holding a lit King Sano cigarette that is emitting quite a bit of white tobacco smoke. You might wonder why they would say it is the purest but the next line answers that question. “Purest…because only King Sano protects your taste both ways”. Wait a minute! What do they mean? The next line in the ad shows a cigarette with the “Number 1” on the tobacco end and the “Number 2” on the filter end. They claim that it “Filters the tobacco before you smoke it” and then it “Filters the smoke before you taste it”. Now if only it would just prevent cancer!
