Description

Tareyton Ad September 1964Full color 9 1/2″ x 12″ ad for the cigarettes with the Activated Charcoal Filter that is good enough to fight for. The ad has a picture of a lady with dark hair who is holding a lit Tareyton in her hand as she displays the shiner under her right eye and the look on grim determination on her face. She is a perfect symbol for the headline “Us Tareyton smokers would rather fight than switch” and the ad talks about how the filter with Activated Charcoal makes all the difference. The ad states that those of you who smoke Tareyton are referred to as The Unswitchables.
