Bond Rogers, described as a New York socialite, winter sports enthusiast and veteran of the Armed Services standing on a frozen lake with a heavy brown coat on and his gloved hands holding his lit Tareyton while an ice boat sails across the ice behind him. The headline says that “Discriminating people prefer Herbert Tareyton … with the genuine cork tip to protect the lips”. The text talks about the “genuine cork tip thaat stays clean and firm, that won’t stick to or tear your lips” and about the modern, king size.
