Seagram’s Whiskey Ad May 1967Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad with a picture of Seagram’s V.O. Canadian Whisky and one of the many ways to serve it. In the picture the bottle is sitting behind the glass that is being filled from a dispenser as a man is pushing down on the lever. The ad headline says that “When your income catches up with your taste the Smooth Canadian becomes your regular whisky”. It then says that “As you’ve known since your younger days, V.O. does what no other whisky can. It defines smooth once and for all. Light? Of course. That’s why it’s the whisky you used to hold for the Big Occasions. How nice to be able to sip V.O. on a plain Tuesday?”. It ends by saying that it is “Known by the company it keeps Seagram’s Canadian VO.
