Full color 9 3/4″ x 13″ ad for Schenley Light Blended Black Label and Red Label Whiskies. This ad has a colorful drawing of a bird sitting at a table looking at a menu while another one stands ready to take his order. The one sitting with the menu is singing “Be Bright! Go Light!” while the other one answers “Buy Better Spirits!”. The text in the ad explains that the “Schenley “Swallows” Sing: “A Highball Tastes Up to the Minute When You Put Better Spirits In It!”. The text then goes on to say that you can “Perk-up your potions with better spirits, Schenley spirits…Black Label and Red Label, whiskies “melded” by a secret Schenley method that creates better spirits by permitting their weight reduction without flavor destruction. Buy the best!”.
