Description

Four Roses Whiskey Ad December 1952Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad for their Blended Whiskey which has always made a fine gift. There is a picture of a sleigh that is stopped by the opening of a split-rail fence and is so loaded down with gifts that I’m not sure who actually drove it there. All of the gifts, save one, are wrapped in paper that prevents them from being identified. The one that isn’t plainly wrapped is a Four Roses gift box with the white background and the four vivid red roses on the box. The text delivers the chant “At any man’s doorway…this Christmas…a special welcome awaits the gift package that holds what he’d rather get…Four Roses.
