Wonder Ad May 1967Full color 10″ x 13 1/2″ ad for the bread that has the saying “Make the most of their Wonder Years. The ad at the top of the page shows a young girl jumping rope as the sun is starting to set behind her. The ad refers to The Wonder Years as being years one through twelve and claim that you children grow to within 90 % of their adult height. To make the most of this time it is suggested that you serve them Wonder Bread to make the best of their Wonder Years. The pictures at the bottom are their second line, the ad says “and serve Hostess Fruit Pies – made with more fruit filling than crust”. The left picture is of a single Fruit Pie with one end kind of crumbled as if it had been bitten. The right side picture shows a display of Hostess Fruit Pies, all different flavors. In the middle picture is a young girl with a Hostess Fruit Pie in her mouth chewing away.
