Description

Morton Ad 1947Full color 10″ x 13 1/2″ ad that tells us that “Nature puts the flavor IN…”. Pictured at the top of the page is an apple tree that has, mixed in with the fruit, a container of Morton Salt. The text starts off with “The first bite from a snappy autumn apple is just to open up a place to sprinkle salt – Morton’s Salt. please”. The rest of the text has been written by a salt lover, such as saying “good salt makes flavor ooze with every drop of the juice” and “they’re all better for salt”. It has in the lower left corner the Morton Salt girl walking through another rainstorm pouring salt on the roadway.
