The ad has a drawing that shows a woman in a blue evening gown against a background that looks like wallpaper and the headline states that “Marcelle makes a promise…and keeps it!”. It then says that “even women with sensitive skin can have excitement in their cosmetics. Lucky, lucky you!” The text continues with a discussion of their special blending, the fact that their product is hypo-allergenic and what that meant in 1963. It talks about the dangerous irritants having been completely removed from each and every product in their line so that you, the woman with sensitive skin, can safely and comfortably look stunning.
