Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad for Van Heusen Van Gab Sportshirts. There is a picture of the actor from the movie Hell and High Water where it looks like he is on a ship intently smoking a cigarette while wearing one of the shirts being advertised. The headline says “It’s fine gabardine! It’s completely washable! It’s Van Heusen’s famous Van Gab“. The ad contains two photos containing color swatches that show the large variety of colors these shirts were available in and the text describes more of the details while mentioning a price of $5.95.
